Another individual providing direction and oversight on the Jekyll Island Company’s major decisions is Georgia native Larry Warnock. Larry Warnock brings over 30 years of real estate development and construction experience to the Board of Directors. Larry is President and Sole Owner of BRY-MEL Homes, a real estate construction and development firm. Larry graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Finance in 1968. He followed that with an MED and an EDS in Marketing Education from the University of Georgia. He entered the real estate industry in 1973 with W & W Builders and became President and 50% owner of Southeastern Craftsmen, Inc, a Georgia real estate development firm, in 1977. During his time with Southeastern Kraftsmen, Larry served as Treasurer with the Four Star Construction Co. He stayed with Southeastern Kraftsmen and Four Star Construction for 9 years until he started Bry-Mel Homes in 1986. Larry currently serves as a Member for the Houston County Hospital Authority, UGA Terry College Alumni Board, UGA Presidents Club, the Home Builders Association, the Warner Robins Industry Group, and as Director of the Warner Robins Chamber of Commerce.
