As Jekyll Island is known as Georgia’s jewel, our logo is comprised of multiple jewel shapes that display varying colors found in nature and the environment – including the coastal waters, the flora and fauna, and the changing sky. Since the Island is home to the loggerhead turtle, our logo also pays tribute to this species. The jewels, when grouped together, subtly form the important building blocks we envision for the redevelopment of Jekyll  Island – conservation, preservation, and education. This semblance is the mainstay for Jekyll, an Island for all Georgians.
